Responsible Gaming

At Golden Mister, we want every session to be a paid-for pastime, not a way to make money. This page sets out the tools we offer, the signs that play may be causing harm, and where UK players can get free, confidential help.

Important information for players in the United Kingdom

Golden Mister is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and does not take part in the GamStop national self-exclusion scheme. If you have registered with GamStop, that exclusion does not extend to this website, and the protections that come with a UK licence do not apply here.

If you have self-excluded through GamStop, or you are thinking about it, we strongly advise you not to open an account with us. Choosing a site outside the scheme to get around an exclusion you set yourself is a clear sign that professional support could help.

UK players can also install blocking software such as Gamban or BetBlocker, or ask their bank to switch on a gambling transaction block. Most major UK banks offer this block for free through their mobile apps.

Tools available in your Golden Mister account

You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit caps from your account settings. A lower limit applies straight away. Any request to raise or remove a limit only takes effect after a 24-hour waiting period, so the decision is not made in the heat of the moment.

Reality checks can be set to show a pop-up at intervals you choose. The pop-up shows how long you have been logged in and your net result for the session. You can close it and carry on, or log out with one tap.

If you need a longer break, you can ask for a cooling-off period of 24 hours up to six weeks, or a self-exclusion of six months or more. While either is active, your account cannot be reopened early, and we will make reasonable efforts to stop promotional messages reaching you.

Recognising when play is no longer fun

Warning signs to watch for include chasing losses with bigger stakes, hiding how much you spend from people close to you, feeling restless when you cannot play, and dipping into money set aside for household bills.

Changes in mood can matter as much as changes in spending. Irritability after a session, losing sleep over results, or putting off work and family commitments to keep playing all deserve an honest second look.

A short self-assessment, such as the Problem Gambling Severity Index available from UK charities, can help you judge where you stand. There is no shame in the result. It is simply a starting point.

Protecting minors and vulnerable people

Nobody under 18 may register or play. We carry out age and identity checks and may suspend any account until the documents we request have been reviewed. Any winnings on an account found to belong to a minor will be forfeited.

If you share a device with children, keep your login details private and consider parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio to block access to gambling websites.

If our team notices behaviour that suggests a customer may be at risk, we may get in touch, apply limits, or suspend the account while we talk to the customer about it.
